Obituary of Dusty Lee Mosier

Dusty Lee Mosier, 69, was born in Belleville, Kansas on October 14, 1954 and passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 with his family by his side. He was the oldest of two boys born to Lyle and Jean (Bernett) Mosier. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Christopher Lee Mosier.

Dusty came to Arizona when his parents moved to Phoenix in 1956. He graduated from McLintock High School and then earned an Associate Arts Degree from Mesa Community College. He joined the U.S. Army in April of 1976. He served three years at Fort Lewis, WA in the 2nd/75th Airborne Ranger Battalion earning his Ranger tab at Fort Benning, GA. He returned to Arizona and wore many hats as a Family man, 15 years in the Arizona National Guard, a Scout Master of Troop 565 in Mesa, a Board Member for 20 years of the Arizona Predator Callers, and a private businessman as a carpenter and owner of Dusty’s Cabinets. He is survived by Michelle, his loving wife of 43 years, their two children Michael (Candi) Mosier and Lisa Mosier, plus his three granddaughters - Mackenzie, Melody, and Mikaylee; his brother, Marty Mosier (Jennifer) of Raleigh, NC; his aunt Glenda Mosier of Tempe, AZ; his uncle Dwight Mosier of Littleton, CO; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 3rd at 10:00 AM at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Mesa, AZ.
