Obituary of Donald Charles Brott

Donald Charles Brott, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on July 18, 2020 at the age of 86. He was a pillar and honor to his community and a strong foundation for his family. Donald was born on November 28, 1933 in Coldwater, Michigan to Robert Otis and Ruth Leone Brott. Donald was the youngest child and had four sisters. Donald was a good father who always took good care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them. Donald then took on the responsibility, with his wife Sharon, and raised three of his grandchildren. Donald was a man who never stopped working for his family. Donald was predeceased by his loving wife Sharon Sue Brott, his son Robert Michael Brott, his son Ronald C. Brott, and his daughter Teresa C. Brott. Donald is survived by his loving daughters, Cheryl Lynn Yeary, Tina Louise Hopkins, Kimberly Ann Geib, Cheryl Ann Vallejo, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 10 A.M. at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave., Gilbert, AZ 85233. Donald will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85042. Following his service, a gathering will be held at his daughter Cheryl Yeary's home at 10713 E. Oasis Dr., Mesa, AZ 85208.
